Touraine is the oldest of the three golf courses in the Tours region. It is a short drive from the city centre with the 18-hole golf course set in the heart of Chateau country.

The golf course was designed by Michael Fenn and although it is short by modern standards is still is a stiff test of golf from the back tees. The main features of Touraine Golf Club are its technical difficulty and the quality of the golf course. Along with the undulating, tree-lined fairways are several water hazards, and tucked away behind these are the small, quick greens. If you plot your way carefully around this beautiful course, you should score well.

It has a great design and is laid out in the shape of a snail, how very French. Well worth a visit between the Chateau visits and wine tasting.
