Long bay club in longs, south carolina, is known for being tough, but also magnificently unforgettable, as it has regularly been rated among the best courses in the state and has been called one of golf digest's "places to visit" with a ranking of 4.5 stars.
It's a jack nicklaus signature course, but it's anything but standard, with deep bunkers, smaller bermuda grass greens, waste areas, water hazards, man-made mounds, a challenging 137 slope from the back tees, and deceiving par-3s. Hole no. 10, with its 353 yards and mysterious horseshoe-shaped bunker, is one of the most complicated.
