Nick named golf club d'aro as a jewel, and it was added to the list in january 2008. Nick's thoughts are as follows:

âĢľthe views from d'aro are incredible, since it lies atop a peak. It has a number of holes that run down the edge, as well as two holes that go straight up and down the side. I played here four years ago and fell in love with it so much that i'm planning a trip to the area next year just to play this course (and maybe pga catalunya as well). This is something i would suggest to anyone; they would not be disappointed.âĢĿ

The course at golf club d'aro was designed by ramon espinosa and opened in 1992. it is situated in the gavarres range, 300 meters above the tourist destination of platja d'aro, and overlooks the costa brava coastline in northeastern spain.
