Don't be fooled by the par 71 arnold palmer golf course's 6,641 yardage. while many of the holes have ample driving spaces, the strong green fairways are contoured to mimic a rolling new england course. The miniature raised emerald islands that face the green from the slanting fairways are surrounded by white-faced bunkers, azure pools, and softly swaying palm trees. The accuracy needed to reach these targets is difficult to achieve due to the hilly terrain and sweeping florida breezes. The tif-eagle greens are hard, quick, and undulating, requiring a crisply struck shot to stay on the greens. The dense, gnarly bermuda rough that surrounds the greens tangles around the club and makes it difficult to hit shallow pitch shots with a gentle hand. If you miss the green, you'll be looking at a tough par. Several holes warrant space, but they all award dexterity.
