Santa Maria

Santa maria golf and country club is located just south of marbella on the costa del sol and offers a range of recreational events to its members, including bowling, basketball, and golf.

The course here began as a 9-hole layout in 1991 and was enlarged to a complete 18 holes five years later – in reality, golfers must use a tunnel to cross to the modern fairways on the other side of the malaga-cadiz highway to play holes 7 to 13!

The architect dave thomas is said to be interested in the design of a new 18-hole course, which will raise the club to the next level of the costa del sol's big boys.

Santa maria is a parkland course with an out-and-back layout that extends to 6,144 yards (par 70) and features water on many of the holes.
