Mogador

The gary player-designed mogador golf course is located on the atlantic ocean's coast, just south of essaouira, and is situated within what was once a thick jungle. It's the first of two 18-hole courses intended for a sprawling 1,450-acre property that opened for play in 2010. Thirteen holes on the proposed second course have been completely built as of the end of 2015, with the remaining five holes set to open the next year.

The outer half of mogador, which is set out on sandy soil near the shore, finishes with a very long, challenging par four that plays uphill to a false-fronted green. The hallmark hole on the back nine is the right doglegged 17th, which plays uphill to a well-defended putting surface.
