Golf du Chateau de Chailly

France

Chateau de Chailly golf course was built in 1990 and designed by Thierry Sprecher et Gery Watine who have designed over 50 golf courses in 14 countries. The golf course design has incorporated the natural rivers which come into play on several holes and preserved the century-old trees throughout the golf course.

Chateau de Chailly is a parkland golf course with raised greens, which are well protected by bunkers and water hazards. The 11th semi-island par three hole is the signature hole on the golf course with a tough approach softened by a stunning view of the Chateau in the background.

The golf course measures over 6700 yards and is set over a large, mostly flat estate. Each hole gives you the chance for an easy Bogey, a difficult par and a pleasing Birdie. The Chateau appears and disappears as you wind your way through the course. To finish have a drink in the clubhouse bar then head across to the hotel for more refreshments and a bite to eat in their excellent restaurant.
