The course at Ullesthorpe Court Golf Club is one of great variety with holes to test all facets of your game. Following a redesign of the opening 2 holes in Spring 2017 the course now starts with a short but challenging par 4, select a club to leave you short of the water before negotiating a raised green with bunkers short and long. A stunning par 3 2nd awaits after this, walk off with a par and you will be a happy golfer, anything leaking right may find a watery grave! The layout concludes with a stunning par five, sweeping round and offering the longer hitter the risk reward of attacking the green in 2. The course also features no less than four potentially driveable short fours, albeit rather heavily defended ones. You’ll be twitching to have a go at the green on at least one, whilst two of them are saved to be part of an exciting trio of finishing holes. The hazards might understandably keep you cautious on the 16th, but the 17th is a real thriller that may prove irresistible. A little more generous looking from the tee and slightly downhill, bringing the green into range. A birdie though is far from guaranteed if you succeed, this green is possibly the slickest of all. Mixed in are some long par 4's, tricky greens and beautiful doglegs. After a drink in the 19th you will be looking forward to playing the course again.
