Priestman Course, Slaley Hall

England

Slaley hall (now a greatly expanded stay&play resort hotel) is just six miles southeast of hexham, northumberland's market town. Two outstanding and contrasting parkland golf courses can be found here. The priestman course, which is newer than the hunting course at Slaley hall golf, has a more flexible feel and offers its own set of golfing challenges.

Big-hitters and strategists will all profit from this vast and varied style. Several water hazards and lots of chic bunkering will need to be carefully navigated, while the relatively wide open fairways can encourage trust from the tee; even more so than on the hunting course, which is frequently narrower and more difficult.
