Emirates (Faldo)

The emirates golf club's second championship course, wadi, opened in 1996 and is named after the arabic word for valley. Creating a course that could compete with the majlis, the original emirates course, was a challenging challenge, but we feel it was achieved admirably.

Nick faldo rebuilt the wadi in 2006, and it was later renamed the faldo in recognition of the six-time major champion. From the tee to the green, âĢĺthe wadi by faldoâĢĻ has a prevailing pattern of dramatic bunkering. The faldo is a major test for golfers, with fourteen carefully situated lakes surrounding the expansive fairways and broad greens.

In the small fairways and broad greens, precision and course control (a trademark of nick faldo's designs) are necessary for a good score on this golf course.
