The rolling fairways of Le Chateau course run through mature woodland. To score well you need to be straight off the tees and stay out of the trees. The approach shots are more forgiving with friendly green, although there some well-placed bunkers and hazards protecting some of the greens. Le Chateau is the longer of the two courses and preferred by our clients and the members.
Shorter than Le Chateau, La Foret is more physically demanding with tight fairways and well-guarded greens. The golf course is always in great condition and getting a tee-time on this course is easier given that the members’ preference is Le Chateau. Irons off the tee may be the way to play La Foret.
Positioned in the heart of a stunning 100-hectare estate is Sept Fontaines Golf Club. There are two contrasting golf courses, Le Chateau and La Foret and a splendid clubhouse in the Chateau de l’Hermite, an elaborately designed building with a magnificent terrace overlooking the course. It is well worth taking time after your round to have a bite and a drink and enjoy the clubhouse, it is a bit special.
